Overview

The Aztecs Basketball Club exists to enable its members to participate in Basketball, both competitively and socially.

Playing at Wellington College Sports Club, Crowthorne, the Club serves East Berkshire, the northern edge of Hampshire, and the western end of Surrey.

The Club welcomes membership applications from male and female players, aged 16 and upwards, without upper age limit.

A wide range of ability levels is represented in the club, from comparative novices to Junior international standard. Some members join whilst still attending local schools, whilst others have returned to the game after years away.

At present the Club runs

3 teams in the Wessex Open League (predominantly male players, although a few of the region's more confident female players also participate).

1 team in the Wessex Ladies League.

If you would like to find out more about the club, come and meet us at our training evenings. These take place on Thursday evenings September to April from 7-30pm to 10pm for men, and alternate Tuesday evenings from 7-30pm to 9pm for ladies. Alternatively, you can meet us during Summer League (Tuesday evenings from 7-30pm to 10pm, June to August) at Wellington College Sports Club. In Summer League, the Club mixes the lady and gentlemen players, young and senior, novice and experienced for a more social basketball experience.
